The invitation in the Weekly Photo Challenge is to show us something cheeky “go find a little irreverence in your world”.

The dictionary definition for cheeky: “impudent or irreverent, typically in an endearing or amusing way”, suggests that characterising something as cheeky requires a certain level of interpretation. So, in this photograph taken on our back veranda, how do you read the pairing-off of these locusts on a metal sculpture of a leopard? Perhaps impudent, perhaps irreverent, but is it art?
