We only have to look up to the skies to be reminded that our planet Earth has a wondrous and life-sustaining atmosphere.
Let us hope we can keep it that way.
atmosphere /’ætməsfɪə/
noun: (1) the envelope of gases surrounding the earth or another planet; (2) the pervading tone or mood of a place, situation, or creative work.

There is such a delicate balance in nature.. the human race, in its greed, is upsetting the balance at an alarming rate. Good post and message.

The layer of air around Earth is thin and delicate. It is all that keeps us alive. I hope we take care before it is too late. Gorgeous photo BTW.

Thanks so much Sherry. And yes we are polluting our atmosphere at an astonishing rate daily. How some can deny that this is a problem is beyond me, especially if they are motivated/persuaded by short-term greed. I too hope we take more care and that ongoing efforts to mitigate the situation are supported rather than thwarted.
