Although cities have their attractions, I prefer more natural places. We are fortunate to have a suburban garden that backs onto a quiet plantation.
Here in the garden, as far as is possible in an urban setting, we try to let nature back in. For me, anywhere in nature can be a favourite place, and our garden is a favourite substitute.

Doves always make themselves right at home in our yard, napping perched on the bird bath or right on the sidewalk. Your garden is a wonderful place of respite for all kinds of wildlife…and people, too!
