The tiny flowers neatly arranged on pale blue stalks combine to form long plumes of delicate blue.

Known as the Blue squill, this member of the Hyacinth family is an indigenous South African plant formerly known as Scilla natalensis, but now renamed as Merwillia plumbea.  

The rows look orderly in close-up, but from further back the orderliness translates into a lovely gracefulness.
