Flowers need pollinating and bees need pollen and nectar. This week’s photo challenge asks us to share a photo of things that complement each other.
The bee approaches the flower so as to gather pollen or nectar. Together they form a harmonious and pleasing combination to the benefit of both. A good match indeed.

Thanks for the observation Sherry. I was not aware of bee-flies having pollen sacs or pollen baskets (as can be seen in this photo) on their hind legs. I will check it out.

I could be wrong. The abdomen looked a little flat like a bee-fly. I’m no expert. 🙂

It is a bee. Only bees have pollen sacks.
